The volunteer who has the wildlife after hours phone will offer advice to you over the phone and will help you contact the relevant people if there is an emergency. If the animal needs instant care or is orphaned, they will arrange for a registered carer to take the animal who will administer the necessary treatment and care for that particular animal and return it to the wild once it has recovered.
